mmmmm, it appears that it might take a bit more than 5 minutes to figure out FRAPS recording in RC8. Apparently something is not working with the lipsync. It’s not working when I start recording. Maybe it’s my headset. I did not take it with me this weekend. I”ll try again on Tuesday, once i’m back home.
Lipsync is working though. That’s cool. Even if it’s just RC8.
Just saw the blog’s post: RC8 was released yesterday (23rd). I downloaded it and the lipsync works!!! This is so exciting.
RC7 was having too many issues so they withdrew it a few hours after the release. I am just amazed at the quick turnaround. This is so cool.

I forgot to mention that the San Diego EdTec Campus in SL made a cameo appearance in Philip Rosedale’s Machinima. Linden Lab created a machinima specifically for the congressional hearing on April 1st, 2008. (no April fool). The Lab said that they were not going to release the machinima, so the only way to access it is to access the congressional webcast directly from the House Committee site and/or download it. The Machinima is shown about 33 minutes into the webcast. San Diego State U. shows up at the 36:10 mark.
